➥What is TCS National Qualifier Test?

The TCS National Qualifier Test is a multi-level qualifier test to assess various skills & qualities including : 

  • Knowledge of the core cognitive processes required for entry-level jobs
  • Industry-specific knowledge and insights
  • Specialization on skills required for performing the particular job role.

About The Test

  • NQT (Cognitive Skills) is a prerequisite for all the tests
  • Two-year validity of NQT Score
  • Mode of Test: In-Centre (TCS iON Authorised Test Centres)
  • Candidates with NQT Score will be eligible to apply on the TCS iON Job Listing Portal
  • Apply for any entry-level role in any corporate with the NQT Score


The eligibility to participate in TCS national qualifier test 2020 are:

  • Diploma Students in the pre-final or final year
  • UG Students in the pre-final or final year
  • PG Students in the pre-final or final year
  • Freshers with less than 2 Years of Experience

➥Exam Information

Test Dates: 1st May, 2021 and 13th May, 2021

NQT is a General Ability Test that assesses a candidate in the following areas:

Verbal Ability: This section assesses English grammar, appropriate usage of the same, and reading comprehension.

Reasoning Ability: This section assesses identifying words and numeric patterns, problem-solving, figural and factual analysis, decision-making, propositional reasoning, and visual-spatial reasoning.

Numerical Ability: This section assesses number system, arithmetic, elementary statistics, data interpretation.
