Tata Crucible Campus quiz offers a unique and exhilarating opportunity for young minds across the length and breadth of the nation to come together on an exciting platform.

➥About the quiz

A knowledge initiative started by the Tata group, the Tata Crucible Campus quiz offers a unique and exhilarating opportunity for young minds across the length and breadth of the nation to come together on an exciting platform.

It is held twice annually with a separate edition for corporates and campuses.

The 17th edition of India’s largest and highest-rated campus quiz, the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz, is scheduled to be held from January to April 2021, in a new online format.

➥Eligibility

The Quiz is open to full-time students from all disciplines of any under-graduation, degree, or post-graduation courses, across India, but not Junior college students.

Entry to this competition is free and this year, we invite individual participation in place of a team, to enable easy participation in virtual form.

The 2021 edition is open only for individual participation and not team participation. 

Any number of individuals from campus or institute can take part in the quiz.

➥Stages

Online Prelims: In this pan-India quizzing competition to be held online starting with a pan-India prelim, the country is divided into 24 clusters and after two levels of online prelims, the top 12 finalists from each cluster will be invited for wild card finals.

Cluster Finals: Top 12 finalists shortlisted from each cluster will be invited for wild card finals out of which the top 6 finalists will then compete in the 24 online cluster finals.

In each of the cluster finals, the top scorer will be recognized as the winner and the second top scorer will be announced as runner-up.

The 24 clusters will be further divided into four zones, East, West, North, and South and each Zone will comprise of 6 clusters. The winner from each of the 24 cluster finals will compete in the four Zonal Finals.

Zonal Finals: The 24 clusters will be further divided into four zones, East, West, North, and South and each Zone will comprise of 6 clusters.

The winner from each of the 24 cluster finals will compete in the four Zonal Finals. The winner from each Zonal Final will directly qualify for the National Finals.

National Final: There will be a Wild Card Final for the four runners-up from each of the Zonal Finals and two of them will also qualify for the National Finals.

Finally, six finalists will compete at the national final event scheduled to be held in April 2021.


➥Prizes

  • The winner of the National Final will receive a grand prize of INR 2.5 lakhs* along with the coveted Tata Crucible Trophy. 
  • The winners at the cluster finals will receive prizes of INR 35,000* respectively.
  • The Runner up at the cluster finals will receive prizes of INR 18,000* respectively
